Dan was appointed by the church in September 2014 to explore how digital technology can be used to enhance the mission, worship and communication of Methodist Central Hall, Westminster. In 2019 Dan’s role was widened to incorporate all the external communications for Methodist Central Hall Westminster. During the 2020 Covid-19 Pandemic, Dan was instrumental in getting Methodist Central Hall Westminster's services online and delivering MCHW.LIVE - reaching over 2.1 Million people worldwide during the first six months!

Dan is part-time at Methodist Central Hall, Westminster – which allows him to fit in his other passion as a professional jazz musician and music teacher. This makes Dan the perfect fit to lead our ‘Jazz Vespers‘ ministry here at Methodist Central Hall, which was featured on our very special Songs of Praise service in January 2018.

Dan is on the faculty at the London School of Theology where he lectures in Creative Musicianship. Dan also teaches students at the University of Cambridge, as well as many others across the world via Skype with his Cambridge Saxophone programme. Outside of work Dan is kept very busy spending time with his young children Aimée and Charlie, is a keen photographer and following his hometown team, Fleetwood Town FC!
